Wherever you are in Australia, I can personally digitise your family collection at my Adelaide studio.
Send photographs, slides, negatives, albums, documents, video tapes and audio recordings by post or courier. Your originals are returned to you, with digital files prepared to preserve, revisit and share.

How Australia-wide digitisation works
1. Start with an estimate
Tell me what you have, roughly how much, and where you’ll be sending it from. An educated guess is completely fine. Photographs of the collection can help with an initial assessment.
2. Plan the journey
Before you post anything, we’ll confirm suitability, packing guidance, the receiving address and return arrangements. Shipping is quoted separately based on parcel size, weight and destination, with any delivery cover discussed in advance.
3. Personal, careful digitisation
Your collection is assessed before work begins, with a formal quote tailored to the items, condition and handling required. Once you approve the quote and pay the deposit, I digitise your originals according to the agreed scope.
4. Digital delivery and return
Your digital files are delivered by download link, with physical storage media available as an optional add-on. Your originals are returned by the agreed post or courier method once the project is complete and the balance is paid.
Shipping is quoted separately
Shipping costs are additional to the digitisation service. We’ll confirm how your originals will reach Adelaide and be returned to you, with shipping quoted for your collection and destination.
Parcel size, weight, delivery method and any agreed delivery cover affect the cost. These arrangements are discussed before you send anything.
Local drop-off and collection at my Adelaide studio remain available.

You deal directly with me, from the first conversation through to digitisation and return. Your collection is kept clearly identified and organised, with handling discussed before work begins.
Fragile, valuable, oversized or condition-sensitive items need individual consideration. Please contact me before packing or posting them so we can decide on a suitable approach.

Do I need to visit Adelaide?
No. You can begin with an enquiry and discuss your collection online. Originals can be sent to the Adelaide studio by post or courier from anywhere in Australia, with return arrangements agreed as part of your project.
How should I pack my collection?
Contact me first so the packing guidance suits your materials. We’ll discuss how to protect the items, keep them in order and prepare them for the agreed delivery method. Please raise any fragile or unusual items before packing.
How much will digitisation and shipping cost?
Digitisation is quoted for your collection, taking account of format, quantity, condition and handling requirements. Shipping is quoted separately. You approve the formal project quote before work begins.
Can my parcel be tracked or covered in transit?
We’ll discuss tracking and any delivery cover when agreeing the post or courier arrangements. The options, conditions and costs depend on the carrier and collection, so these are confirmed before sending.
How long will the project take?
Turnaround is confirmed in your formal quote after the collection and scope have been assessed. Allow time for the outward and return journeys as well. If you have a particular date in mind, mention it in your initial enquiry.
