About
Breadcrumbs Archive
Every life, every family, leaves breadcrumbs: photographs, records, voices and stories. Breadcrumbs Archive exists to follow them, find the connections and preserve what they reveal for the next generation.
Breadcrumbs brings together three parts of family history that are usually treated separately. Media digitisation protects photographs, videos, audio, albums and more. Genealogical research uncovers the people, relationships and evidence behind family history. Memory Capture preserves voices and stories too precious to lose.
Together, these services connect family records with the people and stories behind them. The result is more than digital files, reports or recordings. It is a family archive that makes sense, can be shared with pride and carries the lives and stories of earlier generations forward.
I handle every project personally, from the first conversation through to private delivery. Careful planning, clear communication and respectful handling of original materials remain consistent at every stage.
With 15 years’ experience in family-history research and membership of The Society of Australian Genealogists and Genealogy SA - I am currently undertaking a Diploma of Family History. Professional equipment for digitisation, audio and video is supported by carefully developed workflows that keep original materials and digital files clearly identified, organised and accounted for from intake to delivery.
Ben and his Grandpa
Both of my grandfathers shaped my interest in family history and the importance of listening to and honouring the stories of our past
